TUTANEKAI COMING.—The Government steamer Tutanekai will leave Wellington next Wednesday for the northern lighthouses, and should arrive at Auckland about August 6. WAIPAHI FOR COOK ISLANDS.—The local office of the Union Company advises that the departure of the Island fruit steamer Waipahi for Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Atiu, Mauke and Mangaia is now scheduled for August 3. CRUISER TOURVILLE TO CENTRAL. —The French cruiser Tourville is scheduled to arrive at Auckland from the New Hebrides on Tuesday next. She has been allotted a berth at Central Wharf in the same place as was recently occupied by the German cruiser Emden.

DOCKING MOVEMENTS. —The trawlers James Cosgrove and Thomas Currell undocked this morning after having been cleaned and painted. They have gone to berths at the North Wall. The coastal steamer Waimea is to dock on Monday for cleaning and painting. H.M.S. DIOMEDE DUE MONDAY.— The Naval Department advises that H.M.S. Diomede is due in port from Hobart on Monday. She will be the first vessel of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy to return from the Australian manoeuvres.

PORT AUCKLAND REPORTED.— Cabled news has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Auckland left Montevideo on Tuesday for London and West Coast of Great Britain, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on July 3. TOFUA AT APlA.—Advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the Island passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Apia, Samoa, at 6 a.m. on Thursday and leaves at noon for Suva and Auckland. She is to clear the Fijian port next Thursday and is due here the following Monday.

KARAMEA LEAVES LONDON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has been notified by cablegram that the Karamea sailed from London on Wednesday afternoon with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Napier. The vessel is due at Auckland on August 26. L. D. Nathan and Co. will act as the local agents. MAU! POMARE DUE MONDAY.— Spedding, Ltd., advise that the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare left Lyttelton at four o’clock yesterday afternoon. and is to leave Wellington tonight in continuation of her trip from Apia and Niue Island to Auckland. She is due on Tuesday morning, and is due to be despatched for Norfolk Island at five o’clock on the same evening. PASSENGERS ON ORONSAY.—The following passengers for New Zealand are travelling by the Orient liner Oronsay, which is due at Sydney from London next Thursday:—Captain C. E. Blayney, Miss Buckland, Miss S. Marcus, Mrs. Rankine, Mrs. Russell, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Shackell, Miss A. F. Shackell, Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Watts, Miss Q. O. Watts, Mr. E. W. White

SCOTSCRAIG FROM TEXAS.—Messrs. R. Millar and Co. have received advice that the steamer Scotscrai£ was despatched from Galveston, Texas, on July--15, with a full carg-o of sulphur for discharge at Auckland, .'Newcastle, Sydnev, and Port Kembla. She is due at Auckland about August 24. She is a steel steamer of 4,779 tons gross and is owned by Mr. E. J. Leslie, West Hartlepool. She was built at West Hartlepool in 1914, and was formerly named Hambleton Grange.

AORANGI DUE MONDAY.—Due at Auckland early on Monday morning from Sydney, the Union Company’s R.M.M.S. Aorangi will berth about 8.30 a.m. at the Prince's Wharf to land passengers and mails, and to load for America. She is announced to leave here at 11 a.m. on Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver.

MAHENO LEAVES SYDNEY.—According to cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company, the intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno left Sydney at noon yesterday for Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday. The vessel will berth at the Queen’s Wharf, and is scheduled to leave again at 11 a.m. next Friday on her return trip.

GOLDEN COAST LATE. Further radio advice received by Henderson and Macfarlane states that the O. and O. Line’s steamer Golden Coast is now expected to arrive at Auckland at 7 a.m. tomorrow from the Pacific Coast. After landing explosives at Orakei, she will berth at the King’s Wharf to land the local portion of her cargo before proceeding to Wellington, Timaru and Dunedin to complete.

RARANGA CLEARS BALBOA.—Advice received by A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd., states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga, which was dispatched from Liverpool on July 6, cleared Balboa on July 22. The vessel has general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on August 14.

CANADIAN VICTOR DELAYED.—Advice received from the local office of the Canadian National Steamships states that a radio message has been received from the Canadian Victor, inward bound from Montreal, that she is being delayed by heavy weather and does not expect to reach Auckland until noon on Monday. The vessel has been allotted a berth at Prince’s Wharf, where she will unload the local portion of her cargo and later proceed to Australian ports to complete.

NOBEL COMPANY’S VESSELS.—Mr. C. E. Campbell advises the following movements of the Nobel Explosive Company’s vessels:— The Piri is expected to arrive on Monday from Melbourne, via Southern ports. Her last call was made at Nelson. After she has discharged the remainder of her explosive cargo the Piri is to undergo her annual overhaul and survey here. She will unload at the Tamaki powder anchorage. The Huia, at present unloading a cargo of Australian hardwoods at Central Wharf, is to go down to the Tamaki powder anchorage on Tuesday morning to load explosives for Southern ports. She is scheduled to sail on Wednesday.
