ARRANGEMENTS IN CASE OF WET WEATHER POSSIBLE CHANGES Should weather conditions change much -fur-the worse, which, according To present indications is not at all likely, tho Auckland Rugby Union is putting out Us alternative arrangements lor Charity 1 lay. It' Eden Cork is unplayable tho college games, Grammar v. King’s, Sacred Heart v. yiopnt Albert, Varsity and Grammar Old Boys, will bo called off that ground. Tho school games will then be played on No. 1 Showgrounds, and the Var-sity-Grammar match at the Grammar School. As such changes would necessita o others, it has been arranged that City and Ponsonby take No. 3 ground, Krtt-tj Parte, at 3 p.m., while College Julies and Technical Old Boys will play the .curtain-raiser to the I’onsonbyCity.gatno. In the event of these many ; Iterations taking place, ManukauMurist fifth grade game, set down for No. 1 .Showgrounds, will he postponed to a later date. Thong’ll the union has decided on these tentative arrangements, the state of Eden Park today is such that there does not seem any necessity for the suggested changes, but the union is anxious to take all precautions.
