NEW ZEALAND SQUADRON
OFFICERS ENTERTAINED AT MELBOURNE MELBOURNE, Saturday. Commodore G. T. C. P. Swabey and file officers of the New Zealand naval squadron were entertained at dinner prominent New 2iealanders resiin Melbourne. Mr. H. J. Manson (New Zealand) presided. Among those present were the Lord -layor. Admiral Sydenham, Commow 6 .Stevenson and the Secretary of jN’aval Defence Department. Mr. nicnard Linton, M.L.A.. proposed the toast of the visitors and Commodore bwabey replied. Mr. j. a. Gilruth proposed the toast 5* *ke Royal Australian Navy and 6 Stevenson responded. The Lord Mayor paid a compliment 0 New Zealand’s representation in Australia.
