Notice is hereby given that it is tlie intention of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board to introduce a Local Bill into Parliament during the present session thereof, under the name of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Amendment Act, 1929. The object of the said Local Bill is to repeal Section 55 of the “Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908,” relating to the payment to the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board by contributing bodies of their respective assessments and of interest on overdue instalments, and making better provision fox* securing such payment and interest. A copy of the proposed Bill has been deposited in the Magisti'ate’s Court at Auckland and is there open to public inspection in accordance with the Standing Ordei*s. Notice is hereby given that the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board has pi'esented a memorial requesting an alteration of boundaries of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage District by the inclusion therein of the area described in the schedule hereto. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice.
