ON HIS OWN KERR, the promising young horseman who was formerly associated with trainer A. Bryce at Epsom and W. Clifton, the Royal Oak mentor, is now operating on “his own hook.” Recently he was attending to the preparation of Nelson McCormack, but his latest charge is the public favourite, old Uncle Bert, who was an inmate of W. Cfifton’s stable when Kerr was employed there. Bill Kerr is an unassuming and attentive young fellow, and should make good at the game.
