RAILWAY CHANGES

LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEER’S STAFF ARRANGEMENTS AT AUCKLAND Additions and changes are to be made to the railway locomotive engineer’s staff at Auckland. Some of them will be only temporary. Mr. S. H. Jenkinson, office engineer in the head office at Wellington, will arrive in Auckland shortly, and will stay here for about two months. Mr. W. R. Butcher, draughtsman in the chief mechanical engineer’s office at Wellington, has been transferred to Auckland to assist on the technical side of the office.
