MURDER AND DACOITY
NINE MEN CHARGED AT LAHORE WAR AGAINST THE KING (United Service) Reed. 9.5 a.m. DELHI, Thursday. The trial has begun at Lahore of nine men charged with murder and daeoity, waging war against the King and Emperor, and collecting ammunition, bombs, etc. The accusations refer, inter alia, to the murder of Police Officer Saunders at Lahore in December, the Assembly bomb outrage at Delhi, attempted murder of an Indian detective at Benares, and an attempt on the lives of the Simon Commission.
