The new attraction at the I-yi' lo Theatre this evening, entitled "The Farmer's Wife,” is an amusing comedy drama concerning the exploits o£ an old farmer, who wishes to again enter the field of married bliss. After proposing to and being repulsed by all the likely ladies, he finally finds consolation in the io\e of his devoted housekeeper. Highly comic in its story, beautifu. country' settings and excellent acting by a strong cast, it is a picture to be enjoyed by all lovers of English counU Jameson Thomas and Lilian HallDavis play the leads and are supported bv Gordon Haxker, Gibb McLaughlin, and Maud Gill. This picture was produced by Alfred Hitchcock for British International Pictures. . A second picture will be shown this evening in “Bare Knees, a tale of modern youth’s defiance of convention.
