Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, Friday. ■Evidently the endeavour of the Wliangarei Municipal Silver Band to make a real impression on people of New Zealand had the desired effect. Following the most successful broadcast of the band concert on June 16, favourable reports were received from all parts of the Dominion. The band will be on the air again on Sunday evening. The broadcast will be carried out through IYA Auckland. An exceptionally fine programme, both in respect to instrumental and supporting items, has been arranged.
