BOMB IN STABLES

HORSES BREAK LOOSE IN FIRE WORKER’S HOME STONED Reed. 11 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today. Attacks were made on the homes of two non-striking timber workers last night. An attempt was made to set fire to the stable of W. Spekon, at Yarraville. The incendiarists placed a bomb and a bottle filled with inflammable spirit in the stables, in which there were horses. Before the flames reached serious proportions the horses broke loose. J. Blajsey’s home at Footscray was bombarded with stones. All the windows were smashed.
