The collier Canopus sailed for Westport at 8 p.m. yesterday, but this morning was sheltering at Kawau on account of the heavy weather. The Herekino arrived from Portland this morning. The Make, which sailed last night for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne, will probably arrive back on Sunday. The Pulteko is expected to return to port from the East Coast on Saturday. The Tiroa, which left for Hicks, Tokomaru and Tolaga Bays yesterday afternoon, should arrive back during the week-end, and is scheduled to sail on the return trip at noon on Tuesday next. The Coronation arrived from Awanui this morning, and is to be dispatched for that port again at noon on Saturday. The Scot cleared port last night for Waipu. She sails on the next trip at 3 p.m. on Monday next. The Margaret W., which was dispatched for Gisborne direct yesterday afternoon, is expected to arrive back during the week-end. She is scheduled to make her next departure for that port at noon on Tuesday next. The Waipiata, en route from Bluff and way ports, is hove-to in the Bay of Plenty, waiting for the gale to moderate before proceeding to Auckland. It is hoped she will ai'rive here tomorrow. After discharge, the vessel loads at Auckland, and sails on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Waikouaiti, from Port Chalmers and Timaru, left Lyttelton at 4 p.m. yesterday via Picton, for Auckland. After discharge here the vessel proceeds to Newcastle direct. The Wingatui left Dunedin at 4.30 p.m. yesterday via Timaru, Lyttelton, and "Wellington, for Auckland. The Katoa is now scheduled to leave Auckland at five o’clock tomorrow afternoon for Portland, where she is to load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Ivanna leaves Auckland at noon tomorrow for Greymouth, where she loads probably again for this port. The Kaitoke, which lias been loading at Westport for Auckland, may leave the coal port about Friday. The tender Tuatea arrived at Auckland this morning from Gisborne, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. The Union Company will use the tender for towing round the harbour. The Waimea, which left Auckland last evening for Gisborne and Napier, is due back here on Sunday. The Kaimanawa is to load at Dunedin tomorrow, thence Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, for Auckland. The Gunbar is due at Auckland about Sunday from the East Coast and sails the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier, and East Coast bays. The Apanui is sailing for Great Barrier Island at midnight tonight, and is to arrive back in port at 6 p.m. tomorThe Pono is to be dispatched for Manga pal, Parua Bay-, One Tree Point, and Waipu at three o’clock this afterThe Toa was to have sailed for Whakatano at noon today. The Kawau had to abandon her trip to Big Omaha and way ports this morning on account of the unfavourable conditions. She is now scheduled to leave for Kawau, Takatu, Ti Point, Little and Big Omaha, at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The Omana is expected to return from Motuihi and Waiheke at G. 15 o’clock this evening, and is to leave for Kawau, Mullet Point, and Matakana at 10 a.m. to-

The Taniwha is due from Paeroa at one o’clock tomorrow morning, and leaves on the next trip for that port at 9.30 p.m. that evening.

The Claymore, due from Whangarei at 3.30 a.m. tomorrow, is to sail on the return trip at six o’clock that evening.
