EXCHANGE OF OFFICIAL CALLS ADVICE OF PROCEDURE The procedure to be followed in the exchange of official courtesies with the captain of the German cruiser Emden. has been forwarded to the Town Clerk, Air. J. S. Brigham, by the Under-Secre-tary of Internal Affairs. At 9.15 a.m. to senior naval officer will call on the visiting captain and at 9.45 a.m. the visiting captain will call on the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, at the Grand Hotel. At 10 a.m. the visiting captain will call on the officer commanding the Northern Military Command, and at 10.15 the visiting captain will call on the Mayor, followed 15 minutes later by a call on the chairman of the Harbour Board. The captain’s call will be returned by the Minister of Internal Affairs at 11 o’clock, and at 11.30 the officer commanding the Northern Military Command will do likewise. The Mayor will go on board the Emden at 11.45 and the chairman of the Harbour Board at noon. At 12.30 the visiting captain will return the call of the senior naval officer.
