CAMBRIDGE VISITED

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL WANTED (From Our Oxen Correspondent) CAMBRIDGE, Friday. The Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, paid a short visit to Cambridge today. He was met at the District High School by Mr. F. Lye, M.P., the Mayor, Mr. C. H. Priestley, and the chairman, Mr. F. N. Macky, and members of the school committee. The Minister addressed about 600 pupils at the primary school and also paid a visit to the secondary department. A deputation from the school committee waited on the Minister regarding the establishment of a junior high school. The Minister said that junior high schools provided a subject that was at present being considered by the Government applied to the Dominion as a whole. When finality was reached Cambridge's claim would receive every consideration.
