O’BRIAN’S REVELLERS
POSTPONED FOR THREE DAYS Owing to the sudden illness of Mr. Frank O’Brian, principal comedian of the Frank O’Brian “Revellers” Company, the first Auckland appearance of this company will not be made until Thursday next. “Frank O’Brian’s Revellers'* ia a talented revue company, which has achieved remarkable popularity in Australia. Their success was recently repeated in Christchurch and Wellington. The company includes a well-trained ballets, a jazz band known as “Tiny Douglas’s Varsity Boys/’ and a number of really versatile singers and dancers, of which the most outstanding are Bert Lee, Marie Ward, Mabelle Morgan. Gordon Norville and Jimmy Downes. Janice Hart is the feminine lead and she and Mr. O’Brian appear in a number of amusing and original sketches. Every member of the “Revellers” is an artist, and tho band rounds off the evening’s entertainment with plenty of lively jazz music.
