TRAM EXTENSIONS

SECTIONS AND FARES TRANSPORT BOARD DECISION Sections »nd fare for the extensions of the tram-liens to Point Chevalier and Dominion Road were decided at the meeting of the Auckland Transport Board today. rpHE manager, Mr. A. E. Ford, reported that, for the Point Chevalier extension, sections would be between the junction of Surrey Crescent and Great North Road and the intersection of the Old Mill Road with the Great North Road; between the lastnamed intersection and Walker Road; from the last-named point and the terminus at the beach. The fares would be the usual tramfares.

Four sets of plans have been submitted for the Dominion Road extension to Mt. Albert Road. The distance is 1.24 miles, and will be doubletracked. The' sections will be between Balmoral Road and the intersection of Dominion Road and Dandscape Road West; and from the latter point to the intersection of Dominion Road and Mount Albert Road. The fares will be 2d and 3d. irA
