FIRE DAMAGES MOTOR-CAR
A large, seven-sea ter car, owned by Mr. R. W. Hayson, of 125 Selwyn Street. Onehunga. was badly damaged by fire in Richardson Road, Mount Roskill, last evening. A friend, who was driving his car, stopped for a moment, and when he pressed the selfstarter flames burst from the engine and spread over the body-work. The Mount Roskill Brigade was called by telephone, but could not save the car from severe damage. It was insured in the Australian Office for £l5O.
