EXCITING FLIGHT

THROUGH RAIN AND MISTS (Special to THE SUN) NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. An exciting airplane trip from Hamilton to New Plymouth was made yesterday by Captain McGregor and a passenger, Mrs. Henry, of Auckland, in the Hamilton Airways’ Moth. Visibility was exceedingly bad owing to thick rain and mist and low-lying clouds. The pilot flew over the sea, keeping the dim outline of the coast in view. There were some anxious moments after New Plymouth was reached befor the signal fire at the landing ground was picked up.
