NEARLY A CENTENARIAN
PIONEER MINER’S DEATH Press Association THAMES, Saturday. The death has occurred at Thames of Mr. Thomas Dunn, who celebrated his 99th birthday on May 8. He was a pioneer of the Thames goldfields and left London in the ship Dauntless on Christmas Day, 1864. He went to the Thames in a cutter just before the declaartion of the goldfields, and worked in many successful mines. He leaves three daughters.
