OVER HALF SUBSCRIBED IN ENGLAND (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Wednesday. The result, is announced of the commonwealth 5 per cent, loan of £12,403,734 issued on behalf of Queensland for the conversion of a j* P er cent, debt maturing on July Subscriptions amounted to 52 per the required sum, 48 per cent. 01 the stock being left with the underwriters.
