RESULT OF BY-ELECTION Although there were over 1,800 ratepayers on the roll with an average of two votes each, only 500 votes were cast at the One Tree Hill Road Board’s by-election yesterday. The successful candidate was Mr. Walter G. Mulholland, with 313 votes while the other candidate, Mr. Thomas H. Rowe, polled ITS There was one informal vote, and eight declaration votes have yet to be received. The by-election was necessitated by the retirement of Mr. -J. Maihieson.
