FAST 5,000 KILOMETRES FLOWN (A stratian and (V.Z. Press Association) (United Servicel Reed. 9.5 a.m. PARIS, Sunday. Commandants Weiss and Gitier flew 5,000 kilometres in 26 hours 11 minutes, an average speed of ISS kilometres an hour, beating the world’s sped record for a similar distance, established by the Italian airmen. ferrarin and Deiprete, of 139.177 kilometres an hour.
