The board’s peaK load for the vear was 60S k.v.. an increase over last year of 10.5 P e . r _ cnits purchased amounted to 0,404,juv, against 3.072.550 last year, an increase of 12 per cent., against an increase of 13.8 per cent, last year. The progress of the board is snow by the following:—l922, 378 consumers, revenue £ 1,974: 1926. consumers 992, revenue £14.578: 1929, consumers 1.203 revenue £17,623. Mr. W'. Harbutt was appointed deputy-chairman. Committees were appointed as follow: Financial assistance, Messrs. Fisher, Garland. Hicks *nd Moore: staff appointments, Messrs. Wells, Hicks and Moore.
