TO-DAY'S CELEBRATION IN BRITAIN

PRINCE TO LEAD PARADE British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a~m RUGBY, Frida>. One hundred years ago. Sir Robert Peel, who was then Home Secretary, established the force of police in this country. Tomorrow, the centenary will be celebrated by a great parade of the Metropolitan Police in Hyde Park. Over 12.000 men will be assembled, and the Prince of Wales, accompanied by Sir William Joynson-Hieks. Home Secretary, will review them. Afterwards, the police will march *o Buckingham Palace, headed by the Prince of Wales and Viscount Byng of Vimv, Chief Commissioner of Police.
