MOTHER AND SISTER DRIVEN FROM HOME MAN OF RIOTOUS HABITS “Thia man,” said Sergeant J. I Cruickshank, in the Onehunga I Police Court this morning, “has recently returned from Australia. Since then he has spent his time in cadging money and drinks in the billiards-rooms and hotels in the town. He has also been sponging on his sister and mother, and goes nome drunk, terrorising his sister «nd mother.” accused was the notorious Joseph Viscoe, who was concerned in a recent case in Australia where a motorist had disappeared. He was charged today with using obscene language and being an idle and disorderly person. Constables Wilks, Rcgliie and Poll corroborated the sergeant’s statement as to accused’s riotous habits. They stated that when arrested he had driven his mother and sister out into nie street, and was tramping about the poiua mad with drink. He told the Court that he had returned jrom Australia a month ago, where he be en engaged fighting a case gainst the police.
