£250 FOR YOUNG CRICKET CENTURION

X>ALMAIN is justly proud of its brilliant young cricketer, Archie Jackson, who secured a century in his first test. More than that, the good folk of Balmain believe in show i n g their appreciation in a pract i c a I manner. At the Balmain Town Hall last Saturn day week, young Jackson was presented with a cheque for £2OO, with more to come (probably £250 in all) and a silverplated service. For a boy of 19, this presentation should be a tidy little nest egg for his future career.
