ROYAL AUCKLAND CHOIR
TOWN HALL TOMORROW A well-balanced and varied programme of interest to all music-lovers will be presented in the Town Hall tomorrow evening when the Royal Auckland Choir will commence its 1929 season. The choir will sing the following part songs: “To Arms,” Evening Song," Sword of Ferrara,” “Mynheer Van Dunck,” “Jabberwocky,” “Vineta,” “On the Banks of Allan Water,” also Sullivan’s “Long Bay Closes,” in memory of the late Mr. Martin Trenwith. Miss Naomi Whalley .soprano, from Palmerston North, will sing: “One Fine Day,” “The Night Wind,” “A Pastoral,” “The Big Brown Bear,” and “The Jewel Song” from “Faust”; Mr. Trevor L. Thomas, baritone, from Wanganui, will sing, “Myself When Young,” “The Lute Player,” and “To the Foi-' est”; Mr. Ronald C. Muston. violinist, of Auckland, will play “Spanish Dance” and “Rondo.”
