The move is to meet the demand of the business community in the new area. Drainage Boards Confer At a conference of eight drainage boards in the Woodlands swamp area, held in Hamilton to-day a resolution was passed recommending rating on tlio acreage basis with six classifications. Man’s Many Thefts! George Robert Mincey pleaded guilty at the Wellington Police Court to breaking and -entering a house and stealing money and article** to a total value of £27 10s. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. To a charge of wilfully a motor-car, and. six charges of theft of goods and money involving £46 9s; be also pleaded guilty.
