STUDENTS’ TOPICAL FARCE The Auckland University College Students’ topical farce, “King of Kawau,” or the “Seventy Millions.” ran its third night of a seven-night season at St. James Theatre last evening. when the large audience was again amused by the crop of humorous allusions to matters municipal. Written by Dr. J. C. Andrew and Mr. ,T. Nigel Wilson, the theme of the “King of Ka.wau” concerns the financial difficulties of the King—difficulties for the solution of which the ingenious Sir Joseph Hoard propounds a remedy. The cast includes Misses Freda Gaudin, Jean MacCormick and Ruth Walker, and Messrs. A. H. 11. Friar - Faisher, J. Gregory, D. Plummer. R. Fenwick, Il.yE. J*. Aubin and EBrodie.
