POLICY OF EXPANSION IS PRESENTED GREAT SEAPLANE PLANNED Times Cable LONDON, Wednesday. The Paris correspondent of “The Times” says the French Minister of Air, M. Laurent Eynac, outlined the Government’s air policy. He said contracts for £2,000,000 worth of new material already had been placed. An entire series of new land and sea aircraft had been ordered. A national school of aviation was to be established. Plans had been drawn up for developing aviation in the French colonies for the police, postal, and hospital services. A great expansion in the commercial services was planned for 1930. The Minister disclosed the fact that a powerful seaplane is being constructed to cross the Atlantic.
