SEVERE RETRENCHMENT

NEW SOUTH WALES RAIL SERVICES INDUSTRIAL TURMOIL SYDNEY, Wednesday. Severe retrenchment in the railway services is expected shortly, owing to the industrial turmoil, especially the coal crisis, and the diminished freights through motor competition. The New South Wales Treasurer, Mr. B. S. B.
