MEDAL FOR NURSE
SUCCESS IN EXAMINATION WHANGAREI’S GOOD RECORD (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANG AREI, Today. Another success came to Whangarei Hospital when Miss Joan Hagen was awarded top marks for New Zealand in the State midwifery examinations. This is the fifth time in seven years that the prize has been won by a Whangarei Hospital trainee, the distinguished five being Sister Ruff and Nurses Buley, McDonell, Collier and Hagen. Yescerday morning the board decided to present Miss Hagen with a gold medal.
