PLEASANT ANNUAL REUNION Pleasant memories were revived in the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday evening. when Major W. A. Gray presided over the annual reunion of the Northern Depot, New Zealand Engineers. There was p. large attendance, and several of those present were able to trace their association with the engineers back to 18S0. Lieut.-Colonel L. M. Shera gave an address, and the toast list included “The King,’* was proposed by the chairman “Fallen Comrades,” by Lieutenant M. K. Draffin “The Old Corps and Absent Friends,” by Lieutenant W. Johnson and “The Present Corps.” by the chairman. A number of selections were played by the Engineer Band, while musical and other items were given by Mr. K. Atkinson. Mr. S. J. Carter, Mr. Eskrigge. and Mr. Spinley.
