“I OUGHT TO MEET THAT JOKER” The man who looks after “Baxter's” advertising was in Christchurch the other day. and had lunch with a verv old friend at Warner’s Hotel. After having a chat, he mentioned that he had an appointment with Mr. Baxter. “Oh,” said his friend. “1 ought to meet that joker. I have taken a lot of his stuff. You know. Igo away a good bit on fishing trips, and Baxter’s Lung Preserver, is one of the main items of my outfit. After a heavy da.y, with perhaps my feet getting damp and feeling a bit husky in the throat, I promptly take a dose of ‘Baxter’s.’ Just come here a minute, I want to show you something/' He took the ad-man over to his motor-car, and opening the door showed a large bottle of “Baxter’s” in the pocket of his car. “That’s what I think of ’Baxter’s,” he said. An occasional dose of this famous remedy will ward off colds, coughs and all chest troubles. “Baxter’s” is wellknown throughout the Dominion. It is a rich, red. warming, soothing compound that does good from the first dose.
