KING’S PRIVY COUNCIL

MEETING AT BOGNOR ON MAY 10 COMING GENERAL ELECTION (Australian and N.Z. Press Associationt (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Monday. The King will hold a Privy Council at Craigweil House on May 1, in connection with the dissolution of Parliament, which was specifically excluded from the scope of the counsellors of State. It is understood that his Majesty has expressed a desire personally to deal with the matters connected with the dissolution and the election. The forthcoming Privy Council does not foreshadow a dissolution of the Cotmcil of State, which will probably function for some time, in order to prevent the King from taking up the full burden of State work while he is still somewhat weak.
