REVOLVER FINISHES CAREER IN OLD BAILEY OF CLERK OF COURT

Sir Herbert Austin, clerk of the Central Criminal Court, whose knov. ledge of criminal law was unrivalled, was found shot dead in his office a. the o*d Bailey, with a revolver lying near by. Sir Herbert had occupied his accustomed seat in court on Friday. L had spent 40 years in the Old Bailey atmosphere of drama and tragedy.
