QUEENSLAND CHINESE FEROCIOUSLY SLAIN BY UNKNOWN MAN
BRISBANE, Sunday. A Chinese storekeeper, Charlie Hong, was murdered at Barcaldine, a station 35S miles west of Rockhampton. The victim was evidently attacked with great ferocity, and his head was terribly injured. A woman customer says she saw a man hurrying away from Hong’s store. She then discovered the Chinese in a dying condition on the floor and informed the police.
