“HOME-COMING”

DRAMA OF FRIENDSHIP t A picture that will undoubtedly prove to be one of the most important of the present year is the latest U.F.A. production “Home -Coming.” Its simple theme, which involves two men, prisoners in Russia, becoming the closest of friends, and then one of them going home and falling in love with the other man’s wife, is told with a sincerity and human intensity that is more than remarkable. The keynote through the picture is its simplicity, but a simplicity that comes from close attention to minute details, the subtle building-up of atmosphere and characterisation. Lars Hansen, a well-known screen star, runs away with the acting honours of this picture, over which all critics of Europe and London have nothing but praise. “Home-Coming” is one of the picture scheduled for release by Cinema Art Films.
