HE BRIDGE OF SIGHS AT CAMBRIDGE —Almost as famous as its prototype at Venice. From the west side of the Third Court of St. John's ollege this covered bridge leads across the river to New Court. St. John’s was founded in 1511 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry VII.
