CONFERENCE IN LONDON A TRIBUTE TO BRITAIN llrilish Official Wireless RUGBY, Wednesday. Sir Austen Chamberlain expressed his Government's welcome at a din ne r last evening to tile delegates to the International Conference on Safety of Life at Sea. He described the conference as one which united many nations in the ties of common human sympathy. The German Ambassador, Dr. Sthamer, said the British Government. by inviting to London delegates from all the seafaring nations, had again shown its traditional readiness to help international cooperation and mutual goodwill. A sincere desire to help humanity was the motive of the conference.
