A contsable said that the two Gadsbys and the two Purvis’s called at the station. Purvis, senr., complained that Gadsby’s car was attempting to pass the car in front when he saw them coming in the opposite direction. The Gadsbys turned in, but not in time to a\ oid a collision. Gadsby, senr., complained that the Purvises were on the wrong side of the road when the collision occurred, and the Gadsbvs pursued them, and they stopped the car. Gadsby, senr.. said that he was accused of being drunk, and that he pushed his open hand against Purvis’s face. Purvis, senr.. alleged that he was struck on the face.
