VISIT TO STATE FARM

TASMANIAN MINISTER AT HAMILTON (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The Pwuakura State Farm was inspected yesterday by Sir Walter Lee, Minister of Lands, Works and Agriculture for Tasmania, who is visiting Hamilton. He was accompanied by Mr. A. H. Cockayne, director of the fields division of the Department of Agriculture, and Mr. Ward, formerly of Xew Zealand, who is now director of agriculture in Tasmania. The party investigated the herdtesting movement in the Waikato. The farms of Dr. H. E. Annett, at Matangi, and of Mr. E. F. Peacock, at Ohaupo, were inspected, and a visit paid to the. New Zealand Dairy Company’s factory at Frankton. Mr. C. J. Parlane, manager of the company, conducted them personally.
