NEARLY ALL BRITISH

SHIPS ARRIVING AT AUCKLAND The British flag was flown on 96.68 per cent, of all overseas vessels which arrived in Auckland last year. In his annual report to the Harbour Board, which was presented at the annual meeting yesterday afternoon. Mr. H. B. Burnett, superintendent and secretary, said that of the 452 overseas vessels which entered the port 437 of the mflew the Union Jack. The registered tonnage under each county of registration is now kept in the board’s shipping returns.
