WELL SUITED IN his last few outings the Aus-tralian-bred Brilliant Light has been noticed running on at the end of the journey. He met with interference at the start of the hack mile at Avondale last week, and yet he displayed impressive form to get within good range of the placed division as they passed the judge. Brilliant Light claims two engagements at Whangarei to-mor-row, and probably the Maungatapere Hack will suit him better, for the field of seven will be all in his favour, allowing him time to find his feet.
