STABLE TO FOLLOW

ALTHOUGH Corinax and Vallar were not taken through to the Whangarei meeting, Ellerslie trainer. J. Williamson, will have three horses racing at the northern fixture to-morrow and on Saturday. They are Odin, The Thorn and Palmares, all of whom are in excellent fettle. The first-mentioned is in the hurdle events each day. This trainer in the past has shown a marked preference for the Whangarei course, and it will be quite unusual if he returns without winning a race or two. Odin perhaps reads the best of the trio, but The Thorn showed signs of improving at the Ohinemuri meeting last month, and it was on the country circuit, ' too. that the grey, Palmares, was showing to advantage. Yes, it may pay to follow J. Williamson's trio at Whangarei tomorrow and on Saturday.
