LONG-STANDING ACCOUNT

AN ex-patient who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital if 1910 for a period of 997 days ha* forwarded £SO as part-payment her account. When the lattsr was received by the Auckland Hospital Board at its meeting yesterday, the chairman, Mr. W. Wallace. moved that it be received with thanks. The medical superintendent, Dr. C. E. Maguirt. clearly remembered the patient, although it is 16 years since shs was discharged.
