SIR HARRY LAUDER
HIS MAJESTY’S TO-MORROW Although Sir Harry Lauder is in himself a whole show, he is not egotistical enough to imagine that he could nightly draw crowded houses without some assistance by contrast and variety of fare, hence he sees fit that at all times a first-class combination of artists accompanies him on his tours. No exception to this rule is made of the company which will support Sir Harry to-morrow evening at His Majesty’s Theatre. Mr. E. J. Carroll, who is directing the tour, has exercised great care in the selection of the artists and their presence on the programme will enhance richly the attractiveness of the entertainment. In addition to Sir Harry presenting a new budget from his extensive repertoire, the following artists will contribute to the programme: “Tiki” Carpenter, the surprise packet, who was engaged by E. J. Carroll during a highly successful London season; Miss Beryl Wentworth, who comes with a big reputation as a singer of catchy chorus songs; Rupert Hazel and Elsie Day, the harmonylarity duo, a celebrated comedian and a piquant maid, in a highly amusing comedy sketch. A thrill is provided by the Fredo Bros., comedy acrobatic violinists; this -act is from the Orpheum’ Circuit, TJ.S.A. Something entii'ely new is promised from Don Julian, a Continental cartoonist and lightning sketch artist, who struggles with the English language while reeling off a lot of smart patter as he executes his artistic pictures. Rarely has a better orchestra been brought together than will provide the orchestral accompaniments and overtures. The distinguished musician, Haydyn Beck, will conduct. Box plans for the nine nights’ son are now open at Lewis Eady, Ltd. Patrons should not hesitate in making their -'’■nervations.
