COULD HAVE BEEN GAOLED
On a charge of indecency in a. public place, Detlyn Gothard Monrod and Ada Warner were fined £lO each, in default one month's imprisonment, at the Police Court this morning. Monrod, a farmer, 36 years of age, and Ada Warner, 53. pleaded guilty to the charge. The case for Monrod was that he was a King Country farmer who had been very drunk on the day in question, tie had* been on a holiday to Auckland. Mr. Hunt remarked that lytonrod was liable to a penalty of 12 months’ imprisonment.
