Next Swimming Champs. The national swimming championships for next season have been allotted to the Westland Centre, and the decision seems to have met with general approval. Four centres made application —Nelson, Wanganui. South Canterbury. and Westland—the ballot eliminating the centres in the order mentioned. If the New Zealand Council approves the splitting of the national championships it will not take effect until the 1930-31 season.
