JMessiter, whose body was found in a garage at Southampton, returned a verdict of murder against some person or persons unknown. The coroner, in summing up, said the statement of one witness, named Podmore. was a mass of ' inconsistencies a.s to dates and circumstances. The jury must use their discretion in regard to what credence they placed on the alleged conversations between Podmore and another prisoner.
