FIRE IN EMPTY HOUSE
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES (From Our Oven Correspondent) THAMES, To-day. The Thames Fire Brigade received a call to a fire in an unoccupied dwelling in Baillie Street at 3.30 a.m. on Sunday. The interior of the house was considerably damaged before the flames were suppressed. The premises had been vacated ten days ago, and no one had been in it since. This is the third fire in a month where there have been suspicious circumstances.
